Overview

Connecting Points is a series of six road-show resources events to be held throughout Hamilton Presbytery where members of congregations will be able to hear about, examine and ‘taste’ re- sources to help them in their work.
Roadshows

We hope that representatives from each congregation will be able to come along to a roadshow. Starting at 7.00pm - with tea and coffee being served - and running until 9.30pm each roadshow will feature engaging speakers and take-home resources.
Purpose

To help the local Churches 'shape themselves' as they respond to the challenges of today moving to 2020.
· Identifying your church’s culture, every church has a culture but not all cultures are helpful
· Equipping the leadership that is needed for today’s church
Local Venues
To enable easy access from every congregation, we’ve spread out around the presbytery and we’re running a roadshow in: Hamilton, Wishaw, Motherwell, East Kilbride, Airdrie and Uddingston.
Local Support
Connecting Points is a local initiative, run by Hamilton Presbytery for Hamilton Presbytery and is being organised by the local Congregational Development Office, Rev Keith Ross.
Who Should Come?
These events are for anyone in your congregation who has a desired to make a difference in the life and work of your fellowship and community. We hope that each church might send 6-10 folks to their nearest roadshow.
Key Themes
Focusing on four key themes: Mission, Nurture, Community and Communication, a jigsaw motif will be our visual focus and will help you find the right place and shape for your work.
Resources
Each roadshow will feature some “take home” resources and any additional resources will be made available on this website, where possible after the roadshow.
Booking Up
You can now book for any of our roadshows, either by contacting Rev. Keith Ross (see foot of page) or online using the link below. There is no cost to attend the roadshow, other than your own travel costs.
