Resources: Communication

Presbyterian Church in Ireland’s children’s and youth website

The children's and youth website of the Presbyterian Church of Ireland, great for picking up resources and seeing what they are up to!

Welcome

Hi, I'm Jen Robertson. I work in Lanarkshire with Hamilton Presbytery of the Church of Scotland and Scripture Union Scotland as the schools/church youth development worker. As part of my role I am looking to support and enable chaplains and churches to create and sustain positive partnerships with their local schools, and to help churches find their own style and pattern for their children's and youth ministry. If you want to chat, please get in touch please use the contact page of this website.

Religion and Spirituality

Here is something to reflect on from the evangelical alliance. It is well put together and asks the question of how we engage in youth ministry in our pluralistic culture. It maybe doesn’t give an answer but I believe that one thing we need to do is get families together to naturally start having faith conversations around the dinner table.

Icebreaker ball

Chatting together is so important in youth ministry. This inflatable beach ball can help you do that! Throw the ball around the circle and when you catch it you answer the question at your right thumb. There are lots of fun and thought provoking questions and a good mix of spiritual and every day ones. Well worth having in your games cupboard.

Youthwork Magazine
